Abstract

The purpose of the study was to examine the perception of trainee teachers and observers toward English proficiency and teaching efficiency with regard to the effectiveness of language training. Fifty subjects were randomly selected from the staff of 160 Ubon Ratchathani Educational Service Area 3 primary school English teacher trainees. A questionnaire, an interview form and an observation form were the research tools. The percentage, standard deviation, and mean were used as the statistical values of the data analysis. The results indicated that there was a ?high? satisfaction level of perception toward the effectiveness of language training in both English proficiency and teaching efficiency.
